I do not have any experience GERMINATING it, but - and I say this kindly,
not sarcastically - I don't know why anyone - other than a hybridizer -
would NEED to. It suckers so readily, and the offsets grow so rapidly,
that one can create a nice showing in no time just from starting with a few
offsets.
If you will send me your address privately, I'll be glad to put a few
offsets in the mail to you.
It IS a very handsome plant, and in your climate will be evergreen and will
hold its bright red berries all winter long, or until the birds finish them
off.
