Lespedeza is very easy from seed, but I've not tried cuttings. All you need
do to ripe seeds is make a small hole in the seed coat with a razor blade or
your tool of choice and they germinate within a week. The seedlings need to
be overwintered carefully the first year. I keep mine in an unheated
coldframe in pots and then plant them out the following year. You are right
- a beautiful little shrub.
