Plants grow fine under gro-lux and warm whites, they are very good for
general growth. I'm just saying there are cheaper alternatives. You could
have fluorescent battons and a little lamp with a 40w bulb in it to do a
better job. If you are interested in photoperiod extension, you need to
look at the spectral distribution of the light source you are using- you
need peaks at 670-720 nm for this and the best, cheapest source for this is
incandescent bulbs. You only need about 40w/square metre.
