Evonne, Evergreen azaleas prop easily from tip cuttings stuck in sharp sand
or 1/2 perlite, 1/2 vermiculite, set in the shade and kept watered. Or, you
can "layer" them in place by scaping a stem on the bottom and then pinning
it to the groud with a rock or bent wire and covering the area with soil.
It will grow roots and then next year you can cut the rooted branch from the
mother plant and put it where you want another plant. I don't know about
you, but I got out my blueprints for the Ark :). Marilyn
