Re: Petunia Cuttings


Petunias are very easy to propagate from cuttings.

You take a stem cutting, about 10 cm long. Remove the leaves on the lower
half of the cutting and  put it in a small pot with ordinary potting mix.
Press the mix so hard that you afterwards can lift the cutting by the top
without the pot falling off. Then water and place under a platic bag or a
hyacint glass in a light but not sunny place. After a couple of weeks you
will have roots on the cutting. 

I've done this myself with a Surfinia recently, and ig got roots after just
10 days.
