Re: Do we still exist?


Take a LONG sharp knife and undercut the seedlings to cut the tap root at
least a foot down (if possible).  This will slow the seedlings a bit, but
will encourage a lot more laterals to form, making them much easier to
transplant (when they are dormant)  and more likely to survive.  If the
seedlings are very new, wait until later on, in the summer, but while the
trees are still growing actively.
