In addition to wildflowers and native azaleas, my favorite plants are
hardy ivies (Hederas). I grow nearly 200 cultivars and species, a few
original to me. Several years ago I traded a number of hederas with Ron
Whitestone of Whitestone Ivies in Maldon, England, and with Bruder
Ingobert Hieick (sp?) in Heidelberg Germany. The white variegated
Hedera colchica, Spectre and Rona Hibernica are a few of my favorite,
and of course Paper Doll. Are there any more ivy nuts out there. I
grow all my ivies outside on brick walls and as skirts on trees. I am
also looking for North American sources of the red Rhododendron viscosum
hybrids (bred in Boskoop, Holland) such as Caret and Diorama.
