I would be very grateful to you if you could send me some Dutch/european
seed sources. Quarantine regulations make it very hard to import seeds
from the USA, but Europe is much easier. This would help me a lot since
the Israeli agribusiness is not geared to home gardening.

Scorch city. The dry season runs from June through September/October.
Dry means ABSOLUTELY no rain and a fierce southern sun in a cloudless
sky. Wild vegetation survives on dew and on the water trapped in the
heavy clay soil (which, amazingly, remains tangibly moist a foot or so
down for several months after the last shower). In August we usually get
a week or so of "Hamsin" - hot dusty winds from the southern desert
areas. I estimate that the non-irrigated parts of my garden is roughly
equivalent to Sunset zone 13. The watered garden areas are similar to
Sunset zones 21-23.
