Has anyone ever grown these hardy denranthememum /chrysnathemems
from seed and has anyone tried saving the seed themselves?
I have an old book by Witham Fogg that suggests that you pick the
flowers and keep them in water till they dry naturally and then
collect the seed before storage and sowing in February.
Anyone tried this?
I have some. I have sves some "Anne Lady Brockett" and Tapestry Rose
for a try . The latter is i think a type of, D zawadski so would the
same apply.
I dont see much basal growth on the latter or on Mary Stoker . "Anne
lady Brocket" seems to have stems as fragile as glass so I am
wondering if any of them will be good for Irishmans cuttings which is
what I normally do for propogation.
Any advice or experience to pass on.
TIA
