Hi Marianne,
At this point in time, I would plant my African Violets in African Violet soil
(bought at the gardening venter or nursery) and then I water them regularly but
sparingly AND I give them a lot of fertilizer just like prescribed by the
African Violet books. I use Schulz for African Violets about 12-15 drops for
each 1/2 gallon of water. Good Luck!
