Hi there: Regarding your question on venus fly traps, you may wish to
give your son a book on them and a terrarium to get in order pending the
arrival of the plant in the Spring. That's right. The Spring. Venus
Flytraps usually do poorly when grown in winter, unless quite a few
conditions are met. As for the plants themselves, they are fairly easy
to get. You can get them mail order via the net, or most nurseries will
be happy to get them in for you on a special order basis.
