Jose, This spring I dug up a clump of hellebore seedlings and put them in a pot for later planting. I placed this pot on top of my containter of potting soil--leaving the seedlings in the pot with the soil they had been growing in. I neglected them most of the summer and finally planted the babes in early September in fairly rich soil. They put on new growth and look perfectly healthy! Good luck with yours. Ginny (zone 6)
