The best for temporary storage (dry) and also great for your purpose are
glassine stamp envelopes. They come in ALL sizes - from 1'x1' up to a
foot square. I've used them for seeds as well as saving pressed
flowers. They're ideal:) You can get them from local stamp collector
supply stores in your area or here's the site of Subway Stamps. you can
