Hi Tinny. I just brought my brugies in for the winter also. I cut
them back leaving about 9 to 12 inches of stalk. They can also take
some heavy root pruning no problem. I have about 10 different
varieties all in large containers. Next year I'll have even more
varieties so I'll have to root prune them and pot them up in smaller
pots so I'll have room for them all. They are tough plants!
