grape seeds

This year when I made my wine from Petit Sirah ... I kept all the seeds;
carefully dried and put away. I have a LOT of them. There is a large
vacent field near me with plenty of support pieces ... I can't resist.
I have learned that grapes, like apples do not produce offspring from
seeds which are identical to their parents .... oh well!
Who knows the best way and time to germinate a grape seed. I am in
Toronto Canada.
