I haven't seen any reply to your request on how to germinate these seeds,
so I'll tell you my method.

I surface sow them in any good seed starting or good draining mix, then not
quite cover them and then cover the pot with transparent wrap to keep the
humidity high (either that or mist frequently).  This method has been
successful for me in germinating clivia, hippeastrum and ammocharis seeds.
