Re: Hosta and Helebore seed ?

Hostas are incredibly easy to grow from seed and the seedlings are .... cute!!
The selected culivars will not come true from seed but you do get an
interesting variety of seedlings in a variety of colours and sizes.
There are no special germination requirements. Just sow at 70F(20C) add
water and wait.
My three year old plants from seed are quite a nice size.
For an interesting selection of Hosta seed you might want to check out
Iril's swap site which features "Grampa Bill's Hosta Seed Bank"
