Thanks, Dale, for telling me about the wonderful Hosta seed site. I had been
told that Hosta seed don't come true from seed and that if I get seed from T&
M I wouldn't get much variety and most would be plain green. The seed bank
suggests he is wrong.
Have you made any trades with Grandpa Bill? Is there any other way to get
seeds from him? Would he take other things in trade or receive payment? I
don't have much of anything to trade; mostly perennials but no seed. Can
cuttings or plants be sent overseas? It surely would be too expensive.
Were the Hellebore seeds you planted fresh or were they from a seed company?
I understand they are quite easy from fresh seed but Challenging from older
seeds.
Thanks for responding and putting up with all my questions,
Best Wishes --
