: Now as a listowner, I have the power to remove people upon request, but
: I am lazy. It would nice to have subscribers save their instructions
: after joining a mailing list....
: I have created a homepage which defines the
: process to unsubscribe . ..
The homepage is a great idea. It is very annoying to see 'unsubscribe'
messages to the list in so many groups, not only this one.
: If you signed on without my help, why do you need my help
: to sign off?
It would be really nice to have some standardization of sign on/ sign off
routines within mailing lists. I have just changed ISPs, and spent a good
two days trying to de-subscribe and then re-subscribe to the lists I
receive. Although I thought I had been diligent about saving all info, I
did lose the address of two lists. Luckily, I e-mailed a friend, who had
saved the information.
It would be easier to be able to give the list owner a 'change of address'
request . Is this possible ?
(I don't recall seeing how to do this anywhere.)
