Harkening back to my ancient botanical training, I wouldn't have much hope
for an equation for plant growth -- there are so many variables and so many
different kinds of plant chlorophylls that I doubt it is possible to make
such calculations that would hold true in nature, even if they could be
done for isolated plant cells.

Regarding the "natural CO2 generator," what do you mean?  Animals are
natural CO2 generators.....
