Nancy Carson Eberlein asked about Hesperaloe germination. I had good success germinating Hesperaloe parviflora using the Deno method, however had only one seedling survive potting on out of approx. 15 germinated seeds. Next time I try Hesperaloe species I will use my normal cacti & succulent strategy of sowing in small pots (seeds sown vertically in c&s mix, about half embedded, lightly covered with coarse sand or fine gravel, under light).
