Today I collected seed pods from my iris graminea..The seeds are a
nice chestnut brown colour, but each is enclosed in a somewhat soft
and pulpy golden thing (shell?). How do seed exchanges want me to
handle seed like this? Do I have to"peel" each seed?! Do I let
them dry with the "shell" on? I've never worked with iris seed
before, but this is such a lovely plant (with wonderful scent), that
I'd like to pass it on.
Thanks from Nancy Jakusz
