Hi Dawn, Gaura 'Siskiyou Pink' was a sport found on a "regular" Gaura by
the owner of Siskiyou Rare Plant Nursery in Medford, OR. I am wondering if
it actually produces seed or if it might be sterile as sports sometimes are.
To be sure you have the bright pink form, you would need to propagate it by
cuttings or root division. If it does produce seed, you couldn't be sure of
getting the true pink form, but it could be fun to try it and see what you
get. Then you could select for pink flowers among your seedlings. Marilyn
