Personally, I just stick the name and date on the flat, always in the
same corner so I never have to search through a flat of heavy foliage.
I don't really care about documenting every aspect of the plant. Not to
mention that there simply isn't time.
But I was responding to a request, and I've seen it done that way.
Also, making numerous labels is quite tedious unless you have a label
program. I prefer to only label those items that actually MAKE it, you
know. A 20% loss is a lot of labels made to no avail.
