A note on seeds from fleshy fruits -- it's usually a good idea to remove
the pulp before planting. One good trick is to smear fruit into
newsprint and dry -- seeds can then be scraped off, leaving behind most
of the pulp and stored. Before sowing, soak the seeds overnight in water
with a dash of detergent [a yogurt cup is a good container] to further
dsipose of the pulp.
