Re: Has any one done trials?


I got some Superthrive included in an order of roses from the Roserie at 
Bayfields (Lloyd Brace)  with directions to include it in the preplanting 
soak.  This hardly qualifies as a scientific trial, but the roses did do 
exceptionally well, and in a dry summer.  I did get a small bottle, which I 
expect will last a very long time, and I've been watering transplants with it 
for the first few times.  I do a lot of planting, and have had no ill 
effects.  I do agree the label & ads DO make it sound like snake oil.  If the 
rose folks hadn't recommended it (Royal River also suggested it) I doubt that 
I would have tried it.  I'd be interested to know about some genuine 
investigations.
