Yes, Royal Standard is also one of mine that dies in to center.  Too
crowded and not enough room for the plants in the center.  If dug and
divided all live and grow on.  I take them to a local garden club sale
and they are gone to a new garden and my newly planted hostas benefit
from the exercise.  I guess I do too--exercise that is.
