Cajun ..plant two of HOSTA undulata 'Albo-marginata' and one PETASITE
japonicum varigatees (an under $10 purchase?). Petasite is available from
www.robynsnestnursery.com Plant the petasite next to the hostas and it
will act as the preferred slug bait, so these white-edged hosta beauties
will not be touched.
The ALBOS (albomarginata) are Canada's number one selling hosta (and
Holland's also?); and this, is by quantity shipped & sold!!! Delivered at
a buck an eye and sold by the millions. This variety grows well in any
soil, any sun/shade situation and the slugs can never eat as fast as it's
leaves grow.
