Formulas for liquid fertilizers please

Can you folks help us out, and tell us your combinations for making general
formulas for liquid fertilizers, to spray on plants??

Can any fertilizer be used to make a liquid fertilizer for foliage?

The regular common granular fertilizers like 8-8-8, or 12-12-12 = can this
be used, and is it instantly created as soon as it's mixed & stirred, or
does it need to sit a while before using?

What is the best general purpose chemical combination to be used to spray on
foliage?

What type & brand = does it really make a difference?

How often should plants be sprayed?

I know some of you have expressed yourself in some of these areas
previously, but I am sure more input will be appreciated by all. If you
repeat yourself no one will mind I'm sure - so keep it coming.

Please don't stop talking about fertilizers. I am sure all are soaking up
the great information.
