Bobbie, that is some story about ditch daylilies. I had two plants that were
a part of the property where we now live that had to be removed. The double
daylily was rather simple, and everyone who came and took fans of them are
still grateful. The other plant which I don't even know the common name for
is a pink primrose. I have grubbed it out numerous times. I have used round
up, again and again. The roots are as far down as eighteen inches so both
grubbing and roundup have limited effect. The original area where they were
located now are planted with iris and other things and I just yank it
occasionally. It has showed up at every other location on my property and
even will send runners to grow in the grass.

Other than grubbing and roundup what are the choices for ridding one's self
of such an invasive plant?
