Hello Kay,
I see where you have already received several messages correctly ID-ing you
bulblet fern. In the garden here it is just now beginning to emerge. About 3
inches tall now. Tiny stems of mahogany to burgundy stems with little lime-green
tuffs on top. I have mine placed at the top of a cliff so it can flow downward to
the floor below. Very nice effect in the rocks.
It is an easy fern to establish, quite tolerant of different environments and
forms a ground cover over time. it is NOT a clumper for a tiny space. Once
established, it can take some drying out. It will turn brown until rains return
and then green up once more.
