Seeds for shade?

Looking for seeds that I can plant in an area that is dappled shade (fairly
sunny at the moment actually, but in summer it becomes more shady due to
large trees surrounding it). No real requirements per se, I'd like a
reasonably quick germination (before the area turns shaded) and some sort of
flowers would be nice as would a little height and maybe some fragrance. I
have an area that I'm experimenting with at the moment. Zone 6, SW Ohio.
(Nice ambiguous question -- should get lots of responses! <Grin>)
