Freeze protection

There is a woven product like Remay at the Co-ops for tobacco covering.
It does protect and keep the plants another 10 degrees warmer. Leaves
are a good insulation. I garden naturally and don't mulch the leaves on
the hillside so the leaves are there in the paths to pile up around the
tender plants. Cut off milk jugs will help. I am going to hope the
wind stays up and that will help to protect the plants too. all right I
will protect a few plants but most are on their own.
