How shady are we talking?  I have some viburnums that they love, some Joe Pye
Weed, hostas (as I mentioned before), cardinal flower, of course the sedums
will grow almost anywhere and they like them.  Coneflowers do well in partial
and attract them, Sundrops and gooseneck loosestrife are both growing in the
shade and they seem to like them.  Sorry I used common names for all those, I
can never remember the botanic names when at the computer.  I should keep A-Z
in the computer room.  Hope this helps a little, I'll probably think of some
I forgot later.
