Before I get more information about municipal composting programs, I should
clarify my question. I am interested to know about SPRING yard waste --
e.g., branches. We do have a terrific leaf collection and composting program
already.

Closer to the Bronx, a number of towns in Westchester county have composting
programs too, and will deliver to residents. Last fall I got a truckful
delivered for a $35.00 delivery fee and am in heaven. It is great stuff ,
black and fluffy - I use it for
mulching as well. No more bagged compost and mulch for me.
