Feng Shui question

Hope there are some feng shui experts out there who can answer this
question and that others will forgive the slightly off-topic post.
I know that houseplants are considered beneficial for Feng Shui because
they redirect energy or chi in the home. It was my understanding that most
houseplants other than cactus are good for this purpose.
At the Cincinnati Flower Show yesterday, there were two booths dealing
exclusively in some sort of Dracaena, which they were selling as very
pricey stem cuttings. Many of these are twirled like a corkscrew or they
have other bizarre shapes. They were doing a brisk business. One lady
bought 9, at $18 each. I don't know what they wre called, or specifically
what they did, but ideally you plant them 3 to a container and they are
said to be very auspicious for Feng Shui purposes inside the home,
especially the corkscrew-shaped ones.
Has anyone seen these being sold? Does anyone grow them? Can anyone tell
me more, either about the Feng Shui part or the business aspects? Where do
these cuttings come from? What is the name of the plant? I am guessing
they are harvested in the Far East, shipped to this country and sold to
individual dealers. Judging from the crowd in Cincinnati they are doing a
land-office business. It struck me that their customers were curious
rather than knowledgeable, but maybe I am wrong on that.
Hoping to learn more--
