Bob,

I think that this goes back to when the list first started.. I don't
know why or how Chris Lindsey ended up hosting the archives (you'd
either have to talk to him or the person who started the list), but
he's done it since the list started, as far as I know, and just keeps
doing same as he does for several other lists.

It's done as a "public" service, really and, personally, I find
searching archives on hort.net a whole lot easier than searching via
the list server.

Think you need to email Chris - I know he's not subscribed to this
list, so won't be reading this thread....lindsey@mallorn.com
