Re: [SG] cyclamen

Susan,

Sorry, cut off. When my parents moved,i went up the previous fall, and dug
all of the azaleas, the hostas, (they had both kinds), and huge rocks and
such. I heeled all of this material in ditches in the vegetable garden i
worked as a kid with my dad. Dad and i did double french intensive compost
planting. We didn't call it that of course, dad was a simple planter, but we
saved our seeds year to year. After they found their new home, i went up in
spring, and moved all the plants from the trenches to their new home.

Everything moved very well, the house they bought was from an old german woman
who was a serious gardener. She had every manner of bulb, and another variety
of hosta.

The sad note is that the people who bought my old home, cut down the big blue
spruce in front, tore out the bushes, and covered it all in grass.

However, my wife still get the story of how my girlfriend arb gave my mom this
deciduous azalea in 1968.

Let's keep those old plant srories alive everybody.
