Rhonda - "The Genus Hosta" by Schmid is technical, but very good, sells for
$60 retail.  Diane Grenfell's book "The Gardener's Guide to Growing Hostas"
is also very good.  Has colored pictures and sells for $30 retail.    Diane
is from England so you have to take that into consideration on some of her
advise.  I have both and refer to both.

Can anyone recommend a good hosta book for a rookie?  One that has good
pictures for identifying purposes and sun/care instructions?
