Hello, I am also new to the list & just wanted to say Hi & give a bit of info
about myself & my gardens. I live in St.Paul,Minnesota (zone 4).My husband & I
bought our house about 3 years ago.Since then I have been gardening my little
fingers off.
We have a large yard for being in the city so I am able to have many small
gardens around the yard. I have revamped all but one of the gardens that were
already in and added an herb garden.I also wanted a path so we turned the
north-side yard into a woodland garden with a woodchip path and an arbor. It
also has an old stone wall with various sedums growing out of it.This is my
favorite garden. It has a ways to go yet but I just keep adding to it.So far I
have put in ferns, hostas, fern bleeding hearts,a toad lilly and some helborus
and a few other things as well.It is a bit challenging since one side of the
path is shade and the other is full sun.If you know of any woodland plants
that can grow in both I would love to hear about them.
I am a relatively new gardener & am looking forward to learning more by being
a member of this list. :)
Bye,Cyan
