Re: [SG] Groundhog Control

Hi, folks--

We must have the stupidest ground hogs ever around here. They were digging
and tunneling under our barn walls a couple of years ago, when we walked out
one day to find the main culprit trapped in our Have-a-heart trap, stored
empty and cobwebby in a horse stall. Now I concluded that this was an
unduly retarded ground hog until we witnessed a similar performance by one
of his cohorts last summer. Tired of having my hosta and heuchera leaves
eaten, I stuck an empty Have-a-heart trap in an open spot in the flower
bed--again, no bait. Struck gold the very next morning; sent that critter
to a wonderful new home, about 10 miles from here. (Yes, I know you're not
supposed to do that--I've already flamed myself, thank you!)
