Hi Everyone,
Thank you, for the welcome.
First I would like to let you know that I am a little "green" at gardening in
the shade
and even "greener" with computers/e-mail, etc.
I live in central Indiana - I believe it is still zone 5.? We have about 5
acres(no I don't
garden on all of - YET) My children have always thought I was a nuts with all
this
gardening business, until recently - now my youngest son wants his on bed(we
are
working on it) my oldest son is painting landscapes now and my daughter wants
mom to make her a water garden.
I have a hosta bed ,I added ferns to last fall (lady and sword) I don't think
they made
it. I would love to have ferns any suggestions on planting would be greatly
appreciated. I also put in Bleeding Heart, first try at these, they are doing
great -
love them.
I also love color, lots of color, so I would have to say I am a big fan of
begonias and
impatiens.
But, I have to admit my true love is Lilies. Have several - everywhere in my
garden
sun or shade they seem to do well.
Again, I am new it this, so I am hoping to learn from all of you and any tips
you may have will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Deb
