please wait til all your foliage has ripened and dies back. These bulbs
are storing up energy to produce new blooms next year so removing the
leaves would be disastrous
You could mark where these bulbs are by planting an annual close to the
bulb. This would do two things: mark their location and provide a nice
display of color to hide the ripening leaves..

Let me know what you think....This is what I do when I want to mark spots
in my garden that I can tuck in a few more bulbs. When the last frost
takes out the annual, I just clean it out and plant my bulbs..

I live in Indiana (central) and winters can be rough. Mulch is a
godsend..
