Thanks for the suggestions.
Kathy: Can you tell me more about the Missouri primrose? Height, spread,
requirements, etc? Also would it grow in my zone 5 area?
Gail: Thanks for the Corydalis suggestion, I have it planned opposite of
this part of the garden and was looking for the above perennial to
balance the Corydalis. Guess I could plant more if I can't find what I
want.
Kay: The site is pretty good soil, not a stream or very moist area so I
am unsure how yellow flag would do. I am willing to water but how much
would be required? Do yellow flags HAVE to be in water or virtually so?
I would love this plant as it is so majestic.
I am considering only using yellow foliage plants but if any of you
are like me I am a gardener with alot of shade wanting riotous flowers
of a full sun perennial garden. So I would like to find this plant.
Thanks for all the suggestions.
