It certainly is poisonous except to the slugs. How I wish it was! They ate
my Aconitum episcopale vine to death. I am replanting it and standing ready
to slay any slug that dares go near it!
I put off planting this genus until my daughter was old enough to know
better than to touch it. Just didn't want to take a chance with her curious
fingers and mouth.
