Re: [SG] Hosta transplanting?

Many thanks to all who responded on my question..
My reason for transplanting is two fold..I now have 'new and improved shade'due
to a tree which has grown substantially and can provide it a much better growing
area...Its high desert here and summer sun is quite brutal.I cant remember if
this is 'Solar Flare' or 'Sum and Substance'but purchased it because its more
sun tolerant, but even in the dappled shade it was in, it tended to get too much
sun,and showed some scorching of leaf edges.
I agree that it is folly to needlessly move plants about, but in this case I do
believe it will be happier in its more shaded home.

Is it true that I will sacrifice some of its color intensity by placing it in
deeper shade?
Not sure if I still have the invoice so is there any way I might identify which
of these it is?

As always your a lovely group and do appreciate your sharing your plant wisdom.
