Claire and Peggy;
I am in zone 6a and mine have been up for well over a month. Heuchera
"sanguinea" has started to bloom already. None of the dark leafed ones are
that far along, but are close. I do agree that when they first "come up" they
do seem a bit confused looking! Almost as if it's a surprise to be alive
again and they feel somewhat disorganized!
Our hummingbirds and Swallowtail butterflies are back and the lilac's are
blooming so spring is most definitely here, even though its been quite cool.
No frost lately.
