Re: [SG] Lilacs

Kris and all,

I have the two old-fashioned lilacs, the white and the lilac colored one.
I also own 'Palibin', which is smaller and blooms much later. As I write,
it (in part shade) is covered with buds. I think it will not bloom until
late in May at the earliest. It is a cute little thing, but not as
fragrant or as wonderful as the old-fashioned kind IMHO.

Where are you, by the way? Where was the hosta garden you saw? You must be
somewhere in the south, that they were up enough to view. I am celebrating
tonight because my 'Whirlwind' is finally poking out of the soil! That
leaves just a couple to worry about.Otherwise they are all accounted for.
