Hi Mary
I am growing Siberians, Japanese, Louisianas & Pacific Coast Native Iris in
shade. The Pacific Coast Native Iris tolerate the most shade, but are
difficult to transplant. They do best from seed. Louisianas are the next
most tolerant for me. Some varieties more than others. I have 2 varieties so
far that bloom real well in the shade, but increase is slow. My Japanese and
Siberians have only been in my garden for a year and a half and haven't
bloomed yet, so not sure on these.
