Morning fellow shade gardeners,
I primarily lurk on this list but decided to decloak and add my 2 cents on
sedums in shade. I have a variety of different ones and find that without
exception, they all do quite well in dappled shade. Autumn Joy has been in
a mostly shade bed for almost 5 years and although it does tend to flop a
bit, it looks stunning in full bloom contrasted with the fall hosta foliage.
Frosty Morn is a stunning sedum I just aquired this summer. Another I
really like has no variety name and I bought it as S. nigrum, a dark
burgundy color which looks great next to Vera Jamieson and S. variegata.
